Microhousing to Combat Homelessness: A Possible Solution for US Cities In the United States, the homeless crisis has reached dramatic levels: it is estimated that millions of people now live on the streets every night, and the number is constantly increasing due to inflation, the shortage of affordable housing, and social inequality. Faced with such a complex problem, local governments often seek monumental solutions, large collective shelters, or expensive residential buildings, which require years of planning and billions of dollars.
However, there is a quicker, cheaper, and more dignified alternative: microhousing. Bill Kaysing was always a devoted researcher into ways to provide shelter for people who lacked sufficient financial resources. Homes for the Homeless has been distributed free to the homeless since 1996 and can be freely downloaded here: HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS (pdf 10MB)
